Hi I am 28 years old female. I am a microbiologist. Past 1 year I often got upper respiratory tract infections. Around four times I got tonsillitis (lasted maximum a week) associated with fever which got cured with antibiotics, twice sore throat. Recently after getting sore throat I noticed constant thick green mucus in my throat associated with mild wheeze but no fever (lasted 1-2 months)- first month doctor prescribed different broad spectrum antibiotics, but it did not help; second month a different doctor prescribed acebrophylline and montelukast it hepled (cured gradually). Recently I got conjunctivitis also again antiobiotic ointment helped. Now I get green mucus in throat but no fever, no body pain. Could it due to allergy or infection. Please prescribe. Family history of asthma present. Other conditions: Past 2 years, I get knee pain while climbing stairs up/down. If I take calcium supplements for 15-30 days it will go off and again come back when I walk a lot. Doctor told it could be reactive arthritis. I recently found that I am hypersensitive to Insect bite (honey bee, wasp, fire ants). I have gradual and diffused hair fall. Lost 75 % of hair in the top portion of my head. I see some white soft round granules coming from the scalp if I scratch, like white piedra infection (my siblings also have the same condition). I am prescribed with minoxidil and ketaconazole 2 %.
