What Causes Globus Sensation In The Throat After Taking Pills?

I was given a muscular injection of an antibiotic this afternoon for a sinus infection and possible beginning pneumonia. I took my regular several oral meds at dinner time and now feel a lump in my throat that persists. Could this be because of a reaction to the antibiotic or is it one of my pills stuck im my throat?

This is normal. This is not a reaction to the antibiotic nor does it mean the pill is stuck. The esophagus sometimes feels this way after swallowing things but is not dangerous.
