Hello, welcome to health care magic. I am Dr Alok Sinha, MD Psychiatry from India. I will try my best to answer your query.
I have carefully read your query and could understand that you are having skin infections at genitals and despite multiple consultations not getting adequate relief.
Fungal infections at groin and genitals are common. It occurs due to prolonged wet condition, sweat, friction etc in a hot humid climate. It causes irritation, burning sensation and itching. It can be treated with tropical and oral medicines and recurrence can be prevented through adopting hygiene measure.
Even after treatment and proper precautions if the disease occurs again, one should get checked for blood
glucose level.
You should
consult a dermatologist in your locality who may advice antifungal cream like
Clotrimazole to apply locally and if needed oral medicines like
Fluconazole (300 mg) weekly for few weeks and some antiallergic medicine like Levocetrizine to reduce itching. You should not take medicines yourself without consulting a dermatologist as it may be an unwise step. Apart from this, avoid tight clothing and body fit undergarments, keep the area dry by patting with dry towel, do not apply oil, do not wash the area repeatedly, apply antifungal powder, and if adequate privacy is available, sleep naked below waist under fan at night for some days. I am sure you will be fine soon.
I hope this answers your question. I wish you all the best.
