Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. As your daughter is only 10 year old it is most unlikely to be herpes as herpes spread by sexual contact. Fungal infection can recur because spores can be present and again it will grow if conditions are favourable like greasy and sweaty which is usual in genital area. You should use anti fungal medication for longer time to get rid off this. You can use Miconazole (daktarin) or Terbinafine (Lamisil) ointment or creams which are more effective for fungal infection. Keep the area dry. Use loose and cotton underwear.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
