What Causes Frequent Urination?
After ( 6 weeks) TURP operation I have had burning sensation while passing urine. I was asked to take Niftas 100mg twice daily. I have been taking this tab for more that 2 weeks, doctors have recommended to continue for another two weeks. The burning sensation has almost gone. I am also taking Veltam-F 0.4 daily. The frequency of urination has not reduced significantly. Pl advice

I have read your question.
Urinary Tract Infection cause frequent urination as well as Burning sensation while urinating.
If a patient comes to me with similar symptoms I suggest a Urine Routine Examination as it may show an increased number of white blood cells indicating infection.
I also suggest my patients to take Tab Drotaverine 40mg twice daily for 3 days.
