What Causes Frequent Urination With Discomforts?

My son is 6, and has symptoms of frequent urination, occassional bed-wetting, and discomfort (sometimes pain) on urination. Urinalysis revealed 3+ leukocytes, 2+ protein, 25/HPF WBC, 8-12/HPF RBC, 1+ bacteria, and 1 renal EPI cell/HPF. He had no ultrasound or urine culture done. What could be wrong with him, and what should I do next? Thank you. Nichole - Very worried mother.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
The symptoms and urine report indicate that your son is suffering from urinary tract infection.
Get the stool culture done and give appropriate antibiotic as per culture report with the guidance of a pediatrician.
