Hi,

Frequent urination with a burning sensation can be a sign of a urinary tract infection (UTI) or inflammation of the urethra (urethritis). It is possible that the spicy food you ate caused irritation to your urethra and led to inflammation.

While it's good that your urine test came back normal, it's important to note that some infections or inflammation may not show up on a standard urine test. It may be helpful to see a healthcare provider for further evaluation, which may include a more detailed urine test, physical exam, and possibly imaging studies.

If it is a UTI or urethritis, treatment with antibiotics or anti-inflammatory medication may be necessary. It's important to complete the full course of antibiotics as prescribed and to stay well-hydrated during treatment.

The duration of symptoms can vary depending on the underlying cause and individual factors. In some cases, symptoms may resolve within a few days of treatment, while in others it may take several weeks. It's important to follow up with your healthcare provider if symptoms persist or worsen.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Frequent urination with a burning sensation can be a sign of a urinary tract infection (UTI). However, if your urine test came back normal and you have already taken antibiotics with no improvement, you may have a different underlying condition.

Spicy food can irritate the bladder and urethra, leading to symptoms such as burning and increased urination. The burning sensation you are experiencing may be due to an inflammation of the urethra caused by spicy food.

If your symptoms persist for more than two weeks, it is important to seek medical attention from a healthcare provider. They may recommend additional diagnostic tests, such as a urine culture or blood work, to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms and recommend the appropriate treatment.

In the meantime, you can try to manage your symptoms by drinking plenty of water to flush out any irritants, avoiding spicy or acidic foods and drinks, and taking over-the-counter pain relievers as directed for any discomfort. It is important to avoid any irritants or triggers that may be contributing to your symptoms and practice good hygiene to prevent further irritation or infection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
