1.The history and symptoms suggest possibilities of above symptoms can be urinary tract infection. 2.There is no direct cause related to the urinary infection with parkinsons. 3.Ultrasound examination will help to assess the status of the bladder wall, presence of any infective features / irregularities with echogenic floaters. 4.Post void residual PVR will be seen significant in case of bladder and urinary infection. 5.For the above symptoms the investigations indicated are necessary and most appropriate.
Good luck. Hope i have answered your query, any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask. http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-ganesh/62888
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Frequent urination is usually due to urinary tract infection. 2. Urine examination can confirm the diagnosis. 3. Also Parkinson medications specifically anticholingergics can induce spasm rarely cause increased frequency of urination. Further investigations advised should be normal. If normal, medications needs to be looked into closely. 4. More medication details and lab reports of urine examination necessary for further evaluation. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
