My 9 yr old son has recently increased his dose of intuniv from 1 mg to 2 and now to 3 mg ( tsken b4 bed). Since starting the 2 he has been waking up at least once every night to use the bathroom. With the 3 he wakes up at least twice to use the bathroom. This is not due to dry mouth because he is not consuming more water than he normally would. His neuro said that this is not a side effect of the med, however, this was not a problem b4. I am now hearing similiar stories from other parents and woumd like another professional's opinion on this. Also, the 1 mg took care of my son's tourettes but so far neither the 1,2 nor 3 are helping at all with is attention difficulties. If it hasn't shown any improvement towards his add as of yet is it even worth increasing further. Last but most importantly I am very concerned about the intuniv lowering his blood pressure. Woumdn't that decrease blood flow to vital organs, such as the brain? Appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you.
