General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Per se, a bypass surgery will not alter urination in any way, but there may be an exacerbation of underlying prostate issue or diabetes alteration which can be possible to give night frequency.

Any intake of diuretic to flush the urinary system if given to be taken in evening time may be a prime reason for the same as well.

However, if you can provide his list of medications with dosage guidelines I can focus still further for better guidance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
