What Causes Frequent Urge To Urinate With Bleeding And Pain?
I am 52 year old female. I had several kidney stones removed two weeks ago and now have a stent in place. The doctor will perform another procedure (incision in back) in two weeks to remove the rest of the stones. I flew from Australia to the US and back and now have bleeding and some pain when I urinate. Also, I feel the need to urinate VERY frequently. Is this a result of pressure from flying such a long distance?

The symptoms that you describe have nothing to do with the long distance flight.
It is normal for patients that have kidney stones and uretheral stent to have these symptoms. Part of the stones can migrate and it might scratch the walls of the bladder or the urethra and thats why you have these symptoms. Also the stent itself,is a foreign body and it might give the same symptoms.
Another reason is if you have developed an urinary tract infection. But I assume your doctor has prescribed antibiotics.
You need to have plenty of fluids.
-fresh fruits and vegetables
-chamomile tea or rose tea
-ibuprofen 400 mg for the pain twice per day
