hi just wondering about an otherwise healthy 18 year old, vegetarian, hispanic, atheletic (even bradycardic) male who has been experiencing frequent nosebleeds and just recently an ear bleed immediately following a slight change in altitude (978 to 2710 )
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have ffrequent nosebleeds and ear bleed due to dry weather conditions Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like exposure to warm, dry air for prolonged periods of time, nasal and sinus infections, allergic rhinitis, nasal foreign body ,vigorous nose blowing and deviated or perforated nasal septum. Ear bleeding can occur due to eat infection or injury to ear drum . Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may check vitals , take history , order CT scan nasal endoscopy for nasal polyp , examination with otoscope and blood test. Doctor may also order nasal endoscopy . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics, decongestants and may recommend surgery in case of nasal polyp and other condition. Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist . Doctor may also go for tympanoplasty . For now try to keep your ear dry.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
