What Causes Frequent Episodes Of Choking Without Food In Mouth?

my wife will occasionally choke without food in her mouth I think she inhales her saliva or something she chokes and coughs for usually a couple of minutes then she is fine this happens about once a week sometimes salad dressing sets her off into a coughing choke what is this and what can she do to avoid these episodes

I really appreciate your concern, it may not be the thing as you are thinking about the saliva but it could be GERD might be causing such symptoms and best medicine for this is "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg" Domperidone 30 mg" once in day for five weeks at evening time, hope this information helps.
