What Causes Frequent Diarrhea And Passing Of Grey Stool?

Hello,I ve been fighting a pretty severe case of diarrhea for 3 days now. Today I went to my physician as it hadn t let up. The entire time my stool was yellowish brown in color. I had about a 6 hour period after visiting the Dr. Where I had no bowel movements and finally did a few minutes ago. I collected this movement for my stool sample, however this time it was grayish in color. Is this a sign of a liver issue?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of frequent diarrhea and passing of gray stool. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like viral gastroenteritis and bacterial gastroenteritis which is leading to disturbed metabolism in your body.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor my order test like stool test and take history and can prescribe omeprazole, albendazole along with laxatives.

You should eat light and non spicy food articles and take antacid after every meal. Avoid intake of sharp spicy foods and you should drink plenty of fluids.
