What Causes Frequent Bowel Movements Along With Pain In Anus?
I ve been on and off the toilet for the past 5 hours (gone about 12 times). I ve been feeling like my anus is pulsing like a heartbeat and it hurts. It s 4 o clock in the morning and I d like to get some sleep but I can t when I have to go number 2 every 15-20 minutes, sometimes shorter.. What could be the issue?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of frequent bowel movements along with pain in anus . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like indigestion , gastritis , peptic ulcer , gastroenteritis , anxiety disorder , food poisoning , irritable bowel syndrome or lactose intolerance. Anal pain occur due to anal fissure , piles or infection. Need not to worry. You should avoid taking outside food. I would suggest you to eat light and non spicy , avoid dairy products , avoid food like nuts and sea food and take light walk after every meal . Consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order endoscopy , stool test along with ultrasound . Doctor may prescribe omeprazole , ornidazole , loperamide along with anti inflammatory . Sometimes doctor may recommend surgery in case of anal fissure .
