What Causes Frequent Bowel Movement In An Infant?

My daughter is today 3 months old. She is passing stool 9-10 times in a day for last 15 days. My doctor has adviced me enterogermina oral suspension, and nusobee soya milk instead of breastfeeding. So tell me should I continue to breastfeed her, or give nusobee soya milk and keep giving enterogermina. Plz help me out!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Continue breast feeding. Generally it will be due to gastroenteritis or indigestion. In case the symptoms persists you have to go for a stool routine examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
