What Causes Foul Smelling White And Brown Patches On Genital Area?
Hi. I am a nurse and take care of an elderly woman. She seems to be at the end phase of her life but it was not until now I have noticed upon a thorough cleaning her genital area that he labia minora present with white to brown patches, with an odor of a decaying meat. She also presents with white discharge. could the labias be affected by the discharge or is it an independent situation. I am trying to figure out what it really is, rather than an yeast infection.

If the wound is have foul odor then this could be bad bacterial infection, formation of chronic non healing ulcer need to be ruled out, in my opinion this is surgical condition and need medical attention, some time this could be having fungal infection, hope this information helps, take care.
