What causes foul rubber smell during intercourse and how is it prevented ?

Age 20 ..during sex there is a burning rubber smell but neither one of us has an infection and we r both of average weight. What does this mean??

There could be some smell when adequate lubrication is absent which causes friction burns of the skin. Better to use KY jelly in such situations to increase satisfaction and prevent such problems as well.
