What Causes Foot Numbness, Excessive Hair Loss And Rash On Trunk Area?
I have numbness in my left foot for the last few days, excessive hair loss, and an undiagnosed rash on the trunk of my body ( rash for the last 5 yrs) I was diagnosed with hypothyroid. My thyroid was 14.9 Levothyroxine brought it right down but the constipation was horrible. I am currently of Levo and using a natural thyroid. It s the numbness in my feet that is puzzling me. Is this thyroid or something else?

You have foot numbness, hair loss and rash on trunk. Hair loss is a symptom of hypothyroid. Foot numbness too can be due to non pitting oedema on ankle. If i have to treat such a patient i will advice to see if your thyroid is within normal limits , you have been taking treatment for 5 years . With in this much time all complications should been cured. Kindly check it. For numbness in foot if your sciatic nerve is allright i will suggest cap B complex three times a day. For rash i feel it is due to some allergy. I will advice to wear cotton clothes ,and i will advice caladryl lotion to be applied on trunk
