I have had foamy white saliva for more than a month especially when I speak. I also take medecine : levotyrox 135+ atenolol 50 + bipreterax. I also have mucus in the back of my throat coming from chronic synusite but it seems to have nothing to do with it. Thank you very much
Understanding your concern. The symptom you mention in query is occurring due to two reasons . Firstly it occur due to sinusitis (infection of sinus ) ,It is further exaggerated by dryness of mouth caused by infection. Secondly it is caused by the medicine you are taking for blood pressure .
So i would suggest you to consult ENT surgeon(ear, nose ,throat) for sinusitis . Doctor may order CT scan or X-ray.
Doctor may prescribe antibiotics (cefixim or penicillin) at least for 10 days along with decongestant and mucolytic agents .
Also consult your physician / cardiologist and discuss about blood pressure medicines . Doctor may alter the dose of medicine or give substitute . He/she may also prescribe medicine to make the chemical composition normal.
For now keep yourself hydrate by drinking plenty of water and oral redeyhydration solution for electrolyte balance .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
