What Causes Fluttering Sensation Around The Carotid Artery?
I m experiencing the following, and suspect carotid artery involvement ... 1) Fluttering in the carotid artery area on the left side. 2) Recurring fluid accumulation in the inner ear (controlled with oil of oregano which is a diuretic) 3) Inner ear pain which may be from Eustachian tube dysfunction.

The symptoms are more likely of ear-related problems like otitis. You can consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. You can go for a carotid artery dipper to rule out any possible carotid problems.
