What Causes Fluctuations In Liver Enzyme Levels While On Lamisil?

SURE. Taking Lamicil Oral 250 mg. Hepatic Panel showed normal AST and ALT after 30 days treatment. No side effects. Interestingly enough, the ALT decreased to 28 and the AST increased 3 increments to 32. The question is whether the literature indicates any significant changes in hepatic panels at 60 days as compared to 30.

Yes, the longer you are on lamisil, the more common is to have fluctuations in liver enzymes. Avoid all other medications that can interfere with the liver while on lamisil such as statins (cholesterol lowering medications) and tylenol (obviously avoid alcohol as well). The levels are not high enough to stop lamisil, but you should have your liver enzymes re-checked in 30 days if you are going to continue to be on lamisil.
