Hello there,
Blood sugars are not a constant number. They change throughout the day based on your food intake. When you get up in the morning it is almost 7-8 hours since your last meal. Your sugars tend to be on the lower side at that time. Yours are very much under control. After meals it will rise up and it will vary depending on the time after food that you check. Ideal would be to check after 2 hours of a meal. There should not be too much variation in your finger tip or ear lobe blood sugar value. But in my opinion you should check from your finger tip. Even your finger tip value and the one taken from a vein for lab tests will show about 20% variation (as finger tip is capillary blood and lab tests vein blood).
From what you have described your sugar values seem to be in control.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
