What Causes Floating Stools After Taking Percocet And Movantik?

I have to take Percocet 10/325 every 4-6 hrs for pain. I take Movantik 25mg. Lately my stool has come out like meat balls that float in the water. I m imbarrassed to talk about this. I have a lot of digestive problems and do take Fiber Con and Benefiber and Lactulose and have little relief. What causes the stool to be like that and what else can I do for more effective help?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It’s due to indigestion and nothing much to worry. It indicates increased fat content in your stool and nothing much to worry about it. You can take probiotics like Vizylac for symptomatic relief. Include more fiber rich foods in your diet.

Wishing you good health.

Thanks.
