What Causes Floaters In The Vision Of A Child?

What would cause my 5 year old to see rainbow colored spots? When she looks at walls or ceilings she sees a roughly round shape that is blurry and wiggly . The center is red/orange/yellow and the outer rim is blue/violet/green. When she looks with just one eye the center of her vision is normal and the edges are blue/violet/grey. She has always tested well at pediatrician well-check vision screenings, although it has been 9 months since the last vision screening.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your child experience seeing floaters of different colors in her eyes I am suggesting that she is gradually developing a visual impairment

In view of this please let her see an ophthalmologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate expert management

I hope this helps Regards
