What Causes Flashes Of Light And Floaters In Left Eye?
I have been noticing something like a film or eyelash in my left eye. I only notice it when I am driving. Wondering is this is something more serious than a floater. I have experienced flashes in this eye at night on occasion, but not while driving.

i have understand your concern
flashes of light and floaters are mostly seen in retinal detachment , that should be diagnosed early and treated , otherwise it leads to permanent blindness
many causes for retinal detachment like hypertension , exudative detachment
vitreous haemorrhage also causes floaters
i can suggest you to get done eye fundus examination by retina specialist
