What Causes Fever, intermittent Headache And Hair Fall?

I have been running a low grade fever for over two weeks. Temps ranging from 99.6 to 100.8 and bad headache off and on. Saw my doctor right before this for an annual physical and had a thyroid test because I have also been losing a lot more hair than normal. My TSH was normal. The right side of the back of my neck has become sore in the past three days with pea sized bump at the base of my skull on that side. Should I make another appointment to see my doctor or can I wait this out?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
The ongoing fever is definitely an indicator that there is some infection in the body. headache and body ache are usually associated symptoms. The sore bump on the back of your neck could either be a lymph node swelling or an abscess too. a complete hemogram, urine analysis and screening of few infectious disease would help in diagnosis. Do see a physician and get your self throughly evaluated and in the mean time tab. paracetamol 650mg will symptomically help you.
