Teeth eruption is associated to issues like this and fever is very common in such cases.
This is due to the digestive system infection and at this age group it is mostly viral. It is usually self limiting. It takes 7-10 days to completely go away. Make sure he is good on his
vaccination schedule especially
Rotavirus.
Make sure your little one is wetting the diapers properly. If not, it means he is getting dehydrated. Give him
Pedialyte right now as he needs fluids. Don't let his fever go up. Give Tylenol infantile for fever. Cold sponging will help fever relief.
Ask his
pediatrician for
Ondansetron if he starts
vomiting again. Other treatment goes mostly symptomatic. Nothing much to give at this age until unless there is high emergency. In that case you need to take the baby to the ER of nearby hospital.
