What Causes Fever, Pain In Back And Knees?
My mom is experiencing excruciating pain in her back and behind her knees, all labs are ok, she does have a uti with klebsiella pneumoniae, she was in the hospital, but is now out and experiences fever from 99 to 103 in late evenings and then none during days. Doctors are stumped. She has been on an iv via pic line at home.

she must be having age related osteoarthritis in her joints and spine causing pain.
ask her to avoid forward bending and heavy weight lifting. avoid squatting and cross leg sitting. take NSAIDS for pain relief. and apply topical diclofenac gel for backpain and knee pain . get well soon
