Hello,

First of all, let's be clear on the diagnosis of diabetes. I hope you have done all the relevant tests and the diagnosis is Diabetes. The history for diabetes is very important.

Secondly, there are multiple diseases wich can happen to patients of diabetes and infections are one of them. In severe diabetes, the immunity is affected which can cause different kinds of infection like urinary tract infections (UTI).

I would advise you to get a complete body check up like Liver function test, Kidney function test, Complete haemogram etc. It will give picture of the diabetes disease.

For fever, you most probably have an infection. Take a course of antibiotics after consultation from your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
