Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...hello doctor! my dad is suffering from fever since ast 5 days n when he takes medicine its fine but again after sometimes he gets the same..n it starts with shivering recently he got operated for fluif accumilation in brain n also he is taking medicine for TB as prescribed by the doctors... whats the reason behind it and is it the symptom of some other disease plz help
Hi, Chronic infections like tuberculosis decrease the immunity of a person . The person is more susceptible to more infections. Kindly ask him to take TB medications without missing even a single dose.
Also kindly visit a physician. A chest Xray, complete blood count with blood culture, urine analysis and urine culture may be required. He can take tablet paracetamol 500mg 3 times a day for fever.
