General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I want to tell you that burning forehead is common among the 9 months old children because there is eruption of teeth .
Teething is the main reason of burning sensation over forehead .
If child don't have any other symptoms , don't take any tension.
Simple tyleonl ( paracetamol ) 10 mg / kg body weight in divided doses is sufficient.
During teething child will also feel irritation so don't bother .
Good luck.
Sometimes ice massage (forehead)also provide relief.
