What Causes Fever And Non Healing Mosquito Bites?

About a week ago I got about 40 to 50 mosquito bites. Most have healed, but about 15 broke open like my bites have a tendency to do. One of them is not healing at all, but getting worse. It is getting bigger and is filled with ooze. At times it is white. It hurts and burns super bad and causes my knee to be stiff and difficult to move without hurting. I put antibiotic cream on it daily with a bandaid. There is a little bit of red around it, but the amount varies from day to day. I am also feeling weak and sick. Today I have a slight fever of 99.6. Is this worrisome? What should I do? I was at camp at the time and I wonder if I got bit by a spider and we just did not know. Is this possible?

Hi.welcome to healthcare magic.you have insect bite dermatitis.my opinion is that,
1.dont scratch the lesions.
2.apply antibiotic plus steroid cream like fusiderm ointment twice daily over the lesions for 7 days.
3.take levocetrizine tablets twice daily for 7 days if you have itching.
4.take ibuprofen tablets twice daily for 7 days if you have pain and fever.
