What Causes Fever And Loose Motion In Infants Despite Taking Medication?
Hello Doctor,My daughter is 18months old.She is suffering from fever from past 3 days where our doctor prescribed dolopar 125 syrup & they also suggested Meftal ...if temp is beyond 102 degree.
But the fever is not getting reduced & now even loose motion is happening from last night.
Really worried.Pls need your guidance.

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having some gastro-intestinal infection producing loose motions.
As there is infection, she might require an antibiotic medicine course along with anti-pyeretic medicine.
Give her enough water and liquid and keep her well hydrated so that there can be more perspiration leading to lowering temperature.
