Hello sir i had fever last 12 to 15 days back and I took treatment and i was feeling weak after that I went to doctor again and asked him to check my blood and urine test and the result shows that typhy O 1:80 H 1:80 and pera typhy AH 1:40 BH 1:40 .. Do I really have had typhoid ...how may day I should avoid food diet like non veg ,alcohol etc ...
Usually, once the acute phase reaction is subsided with medications, a light diet which is easily digestible is allowed, say within 4-5 days of commencement of the therapy.
A routine non-veg diet with avoidance of fat, oily, spicy, junk foods is recommended around 10-12 days (though there can be individual case differences.)
It is not recommended to consume alcohol or non-veg for a period of 3-4 weeks of the recovery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
General & Family Physician
