What Causes Fever Along With Chest Pain While Suffering From Hypertension?

I had the chest Xray and there is an unfolding of the Aorta suggestive of hypertension and a recommendation of having an Cardio ultrasound to determine the problem. So what might be the problem as I have fever and headache with some slight chest pain even while taking medication. Thanks

Hi,

There is no relation between blood pressure and fever. It could be a viral or inflammatory process which releases pyrogens causing fever. Do CBC, ESR and then Rx accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
