Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Fever, Abdominal Pain, Fatigue And Weakness?
a male of age 22 year reports with complains of fever , with irregular pattern & abdominal pain from 5 days & that pain is in dull character that aggregate after meal. he also complains of fatigue and weakness from 15 days but there is no weight loss. on lab investigation ESR was raised upto 30 and also increased no. of plasma cells ad neutrophills
Sounds most likely to be intestine infection through some sort of bacteria or virus.
My guidelines at present
- Consume more liquids like boiled water, lemon juice, coconut water etc.
- Prefer organic fresh fruits, bland vegan diet.
- Avoid spices, non-veg.
- PPI as Omeprazole, GI-specific antibiotics (as Rifaximin or Metronidazole), antipyretic as Paracetamol with oral rehydration salt are the key recovering molecules.
- Be in regular follow up with your doctor for the progress ahead.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
