Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I always feel from last 20-25days that some thing is stuck up in my throat BUT I am having no problem like pain/irritation etc. ENT specialist says it is nothing but manifestation of old cough. I am not satisfied as I didn t had cold&cough from last 6months
As per your quer you have feeling of something struck in throat and doctor said it to me manifestation of old cold and cough . Well there can be many reasons for the symptoms you mention in query like :
I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper diagnosis . Doctor may examine with laryngoscope , order CT scan , swab test and physical examinetion to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may remove if there is any thing stuck under local anesthesia . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory and may refer you to gastroenterologist if the problem is related to acid reflux .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
