What Causes Feeling Of Being Worthless And Guilt In A Child?

I think I have a serious depression problem I'm thirteen and I'm a guy.i have had problems going to sleep and also oversleeping. I feel worthless and guilty like I have done something horrible.i have lost weight and I feel like I don't even exist anymore.School used to be so important to me I was an all a's student now I'm barely getting by. I fall asleep in random classes and people say that lately I have been "slow" and irritable. I have times when I get out of control and act without thinking. Mabey I'm just crazy nobody cares anyway but what do you think?!

Hi, thanks for asking.
In my opinion you should talk to your parents or school counsellor regarding how you are feeling. You are showing signs of depression. You need to consult a child psychiatrist or a developmental paediatrician.
They will be able to guide you regarding the medications you may require and the psychological counselling you may need.
I hope I have helped you.
Thank you.
