Over the last several days I feel like there is something stuck in my throat. today it feels lower than it has in the previous days making me feel like I m gagging many times today. I have been able to make myself throw up to feel better and then the feeling of something is stuck in my throat just comes back, It feels like I should be able to get it out but then nothing comes up the feeling that something s there just stays.

The commonest causes are: - Psychological if you are a female patient as this is them called globus and the feeling is the result of some phenomenon of stress or anxiety in particular. - There actually can be a mass or something which can be diagnosed only on endoscopy and MRI of the area. Once the diagnosis is made, it is easy to plan the treatment. If there is lymphoid hyperplasia, you need a course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory and continue till you get symptom-free. If psychological, it would be worth trying an anxiolytic and additional treatment as may be required.
