Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My father has been on peritoneal dialysis for sometime now. He connects to the machine over night, this is done at home. Lately, he s been extremely weak and tired. He has started using a walker. He doesn t complain about dizziness or pain. He doesn t really want to eat other than a can or two of Nepro. My mother took him to the hospital and they ran some tests and everything came out fine. Other than giving him vitamin b-12, what can I do? What s going on? Does he have uremia? Please help.
