What Causes Fatigue, Dizziness And Excessive Water In Stomach?

Have had too much water in stomach for a long time. Many years. Thought it was hormonal. Now I feel like I have too much water in the stomach constantly (lots of water weight). Also vertigo a lot. Very dizzy even when I lie down. Also my hands and feet tend to feel swollen a lot lately and I am suffering from fatigue. Just wondering what it could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Vertigo can be related to different causes but if it has been ongoing for years, it would be best to see your doctor for assessment which would include physical examination and imaging (eg a CT scan).

This may or may not be linked to your fatigue.

It is not likely linked to the bloating and fluid retention.

Assessment for the swelling would include blood tests to check the kidney and the heart .

I hope this helps
