What Causes Fatigue And Foot Tenderness Prior To Onset Of Foot Rash?

I believe I have shingle on the insole of my right foot. I ve had shingles two other times before but in different locations. At first I thought I might have a fungal infection but after treating it with no luck with OC medications it has only gotten worse and looks very much like shingle to me. Two weeks before the rash appeared I remember my foot being tender to walk on and this past week I have been very fatigued and even suffered extreme flu like symptoms on day. I tried making an appointment with PCP but they won t see me until two weeks from now. Any suggestions on the best way to Curb the symptoms. I also wanted to make sure it was even possible to have shingles in that location.

Hello,

It could be a aprasitic or a viral infection as they can alsocauses such rashes. Take plenty of fluids and paracetamol for any pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Harshita
