What Causes Fatigue Along With Blurred Vision And Tinnitus?

I have lived with a condition for 40 years. The condition is episodes of a dull fatigue-like discomfort in the head and eyes, blurred vision and ringing in ears. The episodes last from an hour to several hours and occur 3-5 times per week. Key triggers are muscle strain (such as weightlifting or walking up steep hill), poor sleep, allergy season, and stress. I have been to many doctors, including 3 trips to Mayo Clinic. Current doctor suggests trying Lyrica. I am concerned about side effects and I ve had bad results with anti-depressants and anti-seizure drugs. The only drug that helps is Butalbital/Tylenol, but I limit its use due to risk of rebound headaches. Do you think Lyrica is worth a try? Its very expensive and insurance won t cover it for this condition.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Lyrica is a very good choice, in treating neurological problems. I suggest you to try taking it, as prescribed by your doctor, regularly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
