What Causes Fatigue After A Subdural Haematoma Surgery?

I had a subdural haematoma surgery November 2nd. I haven t slept much in the 3 to 4 weeks prior to the surgery and the weeks after the surgery. I have a feeling like I m a little hung over. I was wondering if that would be a complaint from the haematoma, or just from not sleeping.?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite common after a major neurosurgery.

Generally it will settle by itself.

If symptoms persist better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI scan to rule out possible causes like rebleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
