What Causes Fainting And Increased Heart Beat With Hypoglycemia?

I have been diagnoised with hypoglcemia many years ago. I have recently been experiencing feeling of being faint/fast heart beat and at times sweating prior to daily food intake. I feel fine after eating. I do not have any other symptoms and recemtly shoveled snow for 2 hours with no problems.

Hello welcome to HCM..
First of all let me tell you that the symptoms u have described clearly indicate low blood sugar (or hypoglycaemia)
Actually you have not specified whether u r taking any drugs or insulin for diabetes.. My advice to you is
-take frequent small meals rather than only lunch and dinner..
-if you r on any drugs for diabetes you need to reduce the dosage. So kindly consult your diabetologist for that. Alternatively you can send me your drug details.
-recheck your fasting sugar,2 hrs post meal sugar and HBA1c report and repeat it every 3 monthly.
-whenever you feel this symptoms again take chocolate or sugar in water to prevent dangerous hypoglycaemia..
Thank you..
