What Causes Fainting And Dizziness After A Head Injury?

I hit my head (very close to my right temple) 8 hours ago and blacked out for about a minute and have not been nausiated, but have been quite dizzy (but do have bouts of virtigo), no blurred vision and am sleepy but have not allowed myself to nap. It is close to bedtime and am worried if I should go to sleep or not. The area did not greak skin so no bleeding. Sure is sore though. What is your advice, please???

Hi can understand your concern. As per your query,I would suggest you to get an CT scan done to rule out any intracranial bleeding. It good that you are not nauseated but sometimes due to internal bleeding many complications like increased cranial pressure or vomiting etc.So its better to have investigation done as soon as possible.I hope the information helps you .take care.
