What Causes Failure In Follicle Rupture Despite Taking HCG Shots?

hi I am trying to concive In last cycle my doctor gave me hng 5000 ui injection to rupture the egg.. but it didnt get rupture even after 48 hrs in this cycle egg size is 21mm and she gave me 10000ui HCg what is the reason of not rupturing the egg . Please inform

Hello,

* As per my surgical experience, there can be various reasons for non-rupture of follicle despite taking HCG shots as
- tissue unresponsiveness to HCG
- inadequate follicle size
- immature follicle
- suppressive mechanics stronger than HCG present at the hypothalamus-pituitary axis

* Need a detailed work up with the infertility specialist and online firm will not be able to deal much greater in this juncture.
