Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Lately in the last 2 days my right eye twitches involuntary and my ears started ringing. I do suffer from chronic tinnitus for years now but the eye twitch just started. 35 y/o male over 120kg HTN hypercholestermia sharp pains right lower and upper quad in last few months non smoker currently on losartan for b/p.
You have history of having tinnitus. Presently your right eye is twitching involuntarily. You are a non smoker but have high blood pressure too. Sometimes, intracranial hypertension triggers eye twitching, however it may also be indicative of neurological problems, such as facial twitching, eyelid spasms and headaches.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by a neurologist, get nerve conduction velocity test and other required tests and investigations done so that treatment can be started at the earliest. Stay away from addictions if any. Control your blood pressure at all cost. Take food good for the nerves, take vitamin B6, B12, rich food and supplements.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
