What Causes Extreme Sensitivity To Cold In Toes, fingers And Nose?
Hello..looking for some insight as a 29 year old female with Hypothyroidism running in my family. I always get my Free T4 and TSH levels tested and results are always in the "normal" range. However, for as long as I can remember I always get cold after I eat--shivering cold. I have extreme sensitivity to cold as well with constant cold toes, fingers, and nose. I can't ever get enough sleep either and always hit a wall mid-day, I could fall asleep at my desk. Should I see an endocrinologist for a deeper investigation of my issues?
Hello and thank you for asking! I have gone carefully through your concern. I would recommend to see a physician for a detailed clinical examination and he will decide rather you need further endocrinological investigations or rheumatological one. Raynand phenomenon may be a cause of your symptoms. Some autoimmune diseases such Lupus eritematous may cause it. Kind regards, Dr.Mirjeta
